Applications to the Dearborn Magnet High School are accepted in December for semester two or in June for semester one. You may be referred by your counselor or other school faculty but all applicants must meet the following:

• Must have attended two years of high school.

• Include a behavior report.

You may have your counselor submit the application for you as well.

Once your application is reviewed, you will be given a date to attend an interview. A parent or legal guardian must attend the interview to be considered for the Magnet School. After the interview and your transcripts are reviewed, you will learn if you have been accepted, denied or deferred. If you are deferred, you could be accepted when certain conditions are met.
